The Utah System of Higher Education (USHE) was established in 1969 and is governed by the Utah of Higher Education. USHE includes 16 public higher education institutions located in the State of Utah.

ARED is committed to supporting the mission of USHE by offering research education content “at cost” to all public institutions in Utah. Furthermore, ARED reserves space in every certificate program to ensure access for USHE participants.

If you are current student, faculty, or staff member at a USHE institution please use your university email to contact the ARED office at ared@utah.edu. In this message, please include your full contact information and provide a photo of a current university-issued identification card. Providing this information will assist ARED staff in verifying your current enrollment of employment status and so that we can quickly provide you with the information necessary to complete your enrollment at a reduced cost.
